Moneyman,

I have no hard feelings, just calling a spade a spade.

Rick, I completely understand why you would be upset about that, and I am sorry for that.

I'm going to post up a link for you guys on HRH tonight though and maybe help you guys gain a couple members.

In regards to the sim league, the reason why HRH has them is because since we are a one sport forum, and we are in a dead part of the off-season there's only so much that we can do in regards to putting up discussion etc. People get bored if there's nothing to talk about. Sim leagues bring people to the site, and they post in the baseball discussion. Without the HRH sim, we wouldn't have posters like Big Papi, Goldy, D1sparty etc who are big part of the baseball section and sim league. I understand why people who hate them might not like it, but we are trying our best to make it so you guys don't have to see them in the new posts section etc.

I don't want any trouble with you guys, and I understand why you just want to stick out here, and I respect that. A lot of sites have failed recently, and you guys probably just want an owner who will give you guys a place to talk sports and just have a nice little small community. I completely respect that, and I understand why you think HRH will fail, because it has in the passed.

I don't want any bad blood between us though. I've known you guys for a long time, and respect you guys. Keep doing your thing here, and hopefully one day, you'll give HRH another shot, and if not, that's completely up to you as well.

HRH has more sim league posts than MLB posts

Things were fine until RainDelay started spamming for HRH.

Nothing against RainDelay but that is ther truth of the matter.

Why can't you just talk baseball at HRH? Sim leagues are taking nothing away from the discussion

If you are interested in baseball only talk (no SIM Leagues), try Serious Baseball Talk.  http://www.seriousbaseballtalk.com/index.php?sid=f8b837b55a88486bfe45d47d038602f7

Most of you are actually registered over there.  Why not give it a try?  It's been going for 6 years.

Geeze, this bickering is turning into MLBB 2.0.

I might as well migrate full time to HRH, because nothing is happening here.

Sy Berger has passed away.

He was 91.

The world of baseball owes Sy a huge debt of gratitude.

Generations of baseball fans learned more about the game because of Sy.

Sy Berger was the man who made baseball cards what they were.  Working for Topps, Sy realized the 1951 card set was not their best and helped the company to the next stage with the 1952 set.

I cannot due him justice but here is an awesome bio/obit from the LA Times:

It sucks that we don't hear more about these people who impacted the game so greatly.
