Non-Sports Discussion / Re: NST Community Thread

Hello all,
First of all I'd like to introduce myself as owner of hockeyforums.net. I know a couple of folks here are members there (peachy, axman15), and I observed as a guest some of the issues on mlbboards and sts. And I think it is great that this group wanted a place to continue sports discussions as conversations are more fun with a group of internet friends. My site started out on a similar premise as we started out as a group of Flyer fans from a poorly operated site, but we started out with 400 members the first week.
I run a forum that is troll free, with no spam or advertisements and I really don't partner much with other forums but I think that Mudge's site and mine have a lot in common as far as the desire for quality baseball / hockey discussions. I'd be open to site links on each others sites as I know there are some members on my site that would enjoy the added quality baseball discussion on Mudge's site especially during baseball season.
My site is mostly quality hockey discussion with additional forums for all the other sports, entertainment, and OT for the members. HF.net may be the perfect place for for this group in addition to Mudge's baseball forum. The site has an active shoutbox (mostly hockey) and a game chat that is open for any conversation.
As Mudge and others have said, it is a tough go for keeping a site active with a few members.
Anyway, just thought I'd send out an invite to all of you if as a group you think HF.net maybe a place for you in addition to Mudge's site. And Mudge if you would like a link swap let me know.
If you think this post is spam, just delete it.
Sincerely,
hf
